Introduction

This tour is a flexible, guaranteed escorted coach tour, guided in English only.

Once the tour is booked, it is guaranteed so it will definitely go ahead, and will never cancel.

The tour is flexible so you can tailor it to suit your needs. By clicking ‘Quote or Book’, you will have an option to choose your start and end date and destinations within the tour parameters. As these tours allow for such flexibility, the same people, tour guides or drivers may not be on your entire journey.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS:   Arrival. Transfer to the hotel.
Welcome to Europe!!!.   On arrival at the airport we shall be waiting to transfer you to the hotel.  You can enjoy free time until your tour starts, information about the meeting place and start time can be found on the information boards in the hotel reception area. 

IMPORTANT - IF YOU REQUESTED ADDITIONAL NIGHTS on arrival at the hotel you will have your booking made but the guide of your trip will normally not arrive until the start of the included activities. YOUR TIME BEFORE THIS MOMENT IS THEREFORE FREE. At your hotel they can help you with all the information you need.  

NB:   The schedules you will find in this itinerary are approximate. The guide, depending on the situation and in order to improve the development of the circuit, may adjust the schedules.    

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Sighseeing tour.Cable car to Pierre Loti viewpoint. Topkapi Palace. Night transfer to Taksim.

09.00hrs.- A sightseeing tour of the city. We find ourselves in a city built in two continents. On our tour, we will include a cable car ride up to the Pierre Loti viewpoint and we will lenter the Mosque of Suleyman the Magnificent (the largest in Istanbul). We will see the walls, the Golden Horn, the fishing district, and we will admire the exterior of Hagia Sofia. After the visit, we will offer tickets and a visit to the Top Kapi Palace , which was the administrative centre of the Ottoman Empire, with its magnificent courtyards and its pavilions. Free time. 

19.30 hrs - At the end of the afternoon we will provide a transfer to the Taksim neighbourhood, the most commercialised and lively area of the city. There will be time to dine in one of its many restaurants, and you can also take the old tram that crosses the area or go to see the nearby Galata Tower. 

Important: Services during the stay in Istanbul may change order by taking the boat ride on the Bosphorus on the first day and the panoramic visit on the second day.

Today we include a  boat trip on the Bosphorus t hat will last about two hours. We will undertake the trip on a boat exclusively for Europamundo travellers. The Bosphorus is a strait that connects the Black Sea with the Sea of ??Marmara, which separates Istanbul into two parts: the European part and the Asian one. We will enjoy seeing the liveliness of the strait with its multitude of boats. We will pass under the two bridges that unite Europe and Asia and we will admire the palaces of the sultans, the typical wooden houses and the Ottoman villas. 

Free time.

Scenery:  Cold lands inside Anatólia.
Note:  The departure of our ferry is very early. We can not guarantee the availability of a normal breakfast service (a continental breakfast will be given on the ferry). Sometimes, the ferry from Istanbul will bring us to Yalova instead of Bandirna. 

We will leave early morning from Istanbul. We will cross the Sea of ??Marmara by the  rapid ferry  service (variable schedules according to the season and month), and after about a two hour journey, we will arrive at the port of 


09.00 hrs.- BANDIRMA  (or Yalova according to the timetables) Arrival. We continue our journey through the interior of Turkey. Stop for lunch en route.

14.00hrs.- We will arrive in  EPHESUS , the best preserved ancient city of Asia Minor; 2000 years ago it had a quarter of a million inhabitants. We will discover the  Basilica of Saint John, and then the house of the Virgin Mary and the archaeological site (tickets included).  

18.00 hrs- Ephesus departure. We continue on towards the Turquoise Coast.

18.30 hrs- Kusadasi- Arrival to this    popular coastal town with a lot of atmosphere, commercial life and a small castle . Free time in the center to enjoy its bazaars and the city. Dinner and accommodation.

Scenery:  Various beautiful sights over the Aegean.

08.30 hrs.- Kusadasi- Departure. 11.00 hrs.-   Bodrum , free time in this beautiful fortified city of Greek origin. You can visit its castle, walk through its streets which are full of life and tourist activity or its leisure marina. Time for lunch.

15.00 hrs- Bodrum, departure.
17.30 hrs.- MARMARIS,  arrival to another beautiful coastal tourist enclave, with its castle, its marina and its fountains.  Dinner a nd accommodation.

NOTE:  On some high difficulty dates (especially in summer ), some groups can be accommodated in a nearby town.

NOTE - Remember that we are entering to Greece. On the ferry you should carry your luggage and have your passport handy as it is requested for embarkation. 
IMPORTANT NOTE: The ferries that link Marmaris with Rodhes undergo frequent changes in schedules and do not operate every day (except during summer months). The itinerary may be adapted based on the frequencies available during your trip.If the group is less than 10 people, the visits of Rhodes can be made in a regular service at a different schedule (sharing with other people from other companies).


07.30 HRS.- Early in the morning, at first light, we will leave the hotel. After border procedures we will board the boat for Greece. 
09.15 hrs- Fast ferry, a cruise of approximately one hour. 

10.15 hrs.- Border procedures to enter Greece. 
RHODES , arrival. We will include a visit of the city , with its impressive walled citadel, its old town that shows the traces of the different cultures (Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Knights of Saint John, Ottomans, Italians, etc.) that inhabited it. The visit lasts about two hours and is done with a local guide. After the visit, transfer to the hotel. Free afternoon.- We suggest you to enjoy on its beaches or stroll on your own in this beautiful city.-

Landscape: Mediterranean landscapes, postcard-like views over the sea. 
Important: Ferry operating times may be modified so the time indicated on our itinerary is approximate. Depending on the circumstances, the traject to Athens may be made by plane. 


09:00 h - Rodhes –departure- Excursion to get to know the island of Rhodes included. 
09:30 h - Filerimos , you can visit its small monastery, high up on the hill, surrounded by a beautiful landscape. 

10:15 h - Filerimos- departure. 
11:30 h - Lindos - here we find a medieval fortress and, on the highest hill, the greek acropolis of Lindos. We will travel by coach to the bay of Saint Paul, where it is said the Apostle arrived by sea in 52 A.D. The movie “The Guns of Navarone” was filmed here. Free time to enjoy the white washed and touristic town centre, rest upon one of the beaches or climb up (on donkey back if you choose to) to the Acropolis. 

15:00 h - Lindos –departure- Return to Rodhes.  
16:00 h - Rodhes - Arrival - We embark on the modern ferry to Athens . Estimated departure time 17:00 h (departure times in the period between July - August are still unconfirmed). Once on board, you can relax and enjoy the views and breeze of the Mediterranean. En suite berths. Breakfast not included.
 
Important: Depending on the number of passengers, the guide may or may not accompany you during the ferry voyage.

Highlights: Athens - Pireo. Arrival. City tour in Athens. Night transfer. 

07:30 h arrival to Pireo port. We will enjoy a panoramic tour of the city with a local guide which includes the Presidential Palace, the Panathinaikos stadium where the first modern Olympic games were held, the national library, the bustling squares of the center; the new neighborhoods that emerged after the 2004 Olympic games. The tour will end at the Acropolis site (entry not included).

18.30 hrs- In the evening we include a transfer to the area of Plaka , a place full of small Greek taverns where you can also enjoy this country´s folklore.

After breakfast, end of our services.
