Once the tour is booked, it is guaranteed so it will definitely go ahead, and will never cancel.

As these tours allow for such flexibility, the same people, tour guides or drivers may not be on your entire journey.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Night-time transfer to the Montmartre neighborhood. Funicular ride (included)

IMPORTANT -  IF YOU REQUESTED ADDITIONAL NIGHTS on arrival at the hotel you will have your booking made but the guide of your trip will normally not arrive until the start of the included activities. YOUR TIME BEFORE THIS MOMENT IS THEREFORE FREE. At your hotel they can help you with all the information you need.

WELCOME TO PARIS!  
Transfer f rom airport to hotel and free time to explore before meeting your guide and fellow travellers. You will receive information about the start of the circuit during the afternoon, or you can check the informative panels in the hotel reception area.  
 
18.30 hrs (approximately) Transfer to the Montmartre quarter , a Bohemian district known for its artists. The visit includes a ride in the funicular railway to the top of the hill which has wonderful views of Paris. Relax and enjoy a delicious dinner in a magical and romantic setting. 
Return to hotel. 

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour in Paris. Boat ride along the Seine. Climb to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower. Evening transfer.

09:00h Comprehensive tour of Paris with a local guide, visiting the Champs Elysees, Arch of Triumph, Concorde Square, Latin Quarter, Luxembourg Palace, Garnier Opera House, Louvre Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, Town Hall of Paris, Eiffel Tower, etc. Includes admission to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower in the lift.  

The visit is followed by a spectacular cruise on the river Seine which divides the north of Paris from the south. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore as you choose.

At sunset enjoy the evening transfer to “Quartier Latin ”, a very picturesque area of the historic centre where a wide variety of international cuisines await you. Return to hotel.

Note:  Because of the tourist attraction of the Tower, there may be important queues at the time of your access. In order to minimize the problem, in some occasions, the ascent to the Eiffel Tower can be given at another time of your stay in Paris.

We will lstart the day by transporting you to the Louvre Museum area in the centre of Paris. Our guide will propose some activities to wrap up your Paris stay: boat trip along the Seine, visit to the Louvre Museum.. Alternatively, you can choose to explore the city at your own pace and leisure. 

16:30h We depart Paris and head to the Loire Valley. 
19:30h - Amboise , we arrive in the late evening to this river side town where Leonardo Da Vinci lived and died. Here we find a castle and a charming historic town centre with narrow alleyways.

Distance travelled: 670 km.

Landscape: pleasant central France. 

08:00 h We travel on along vineyard lands towards the south of France. 
12:00 h Bordeaux, time to grab lunch and take a stroll in this Unesco World Heritage city. We recommend you visit the Port of the Moon and Saint-André Cathedral. 

14:30 h We head south towards the Pyrenees. 
18:15 h Lourdes l ate evening arrival. Our guide will give you directions for this beautiful mountain town, world-renowned as a Catholic pilgrimage site and Sanctuary, where the Marian Apparitions took place. We recommend taking part in the Candle Light Procession which usually starts at 21:00h (until late October) and to visit the religious sites. Dinner at the hotel included for all our passengers.

today´s highlights: medieval villages of s. bertrand or carcassonne.

following the pyrenees, we stop at saint bertrand, a medieval town hung on the mountainside, dominated by its great cathedral. time for a stroll before continuing to carcassonne, a city surrounded by the most beautiful walls in europe. time to stroll and have lunch. in the afternoon, we continue to marseilles, france’s second city, to see its vibrant “vieux port” (old port). 

note: if the group is small, the section from carcassonne to marseilles may be done by train (our guide will give you the tickets and inform you, and another different guide will be waiting for you upon your arrival in marseilles).

today’s highlights:  provence region. carrieres de lumiere in les beaux. 

villages, landscapes, history, today we see some of the most beautiful places in provence. arles, a world heritage city, shows us its legacy of the roman and medieval times and reminds us of van gogh. in les beaux, we have the chance to visit this small medieval village and we will include admission to the carrieres de lumiere, an impressive show of art, image and sound underground, in some former quarries. time for lunch and stroll in avignon, with its immense palais des papes. we continue to lyon, where we can walk through the world heritage site old town and we will include the cable car to climb notre dame de fourviere, a huge basilica from where we have a great view over the city.

today’s highlights:  burgundy region. rochepot castle.  

we will leave lyon for burgundy. we stop at tournus, a nice little town with its huge stone door and large abbey. after this, on small roads we travel through beautiful vineyards and countryside to la rochepot, we include admission to its powerful medieval castle. beaune, time for lunch and stroll in the wine capital of burgundy; you can visit the wine museum or see the historic hospice. in the early afternoon, arrival in dijon, the capital of burgundy, with its lively streets, magnificent urban complex and many medieval and renaissance buildings, particularly the ducal palace.

today’s highlights:  burgundy region. admission to fontenay abbey.  

we leave dijon for fontenay abbey, a world heritage site, where we include admission to this cistercian centre. after this, a stop in semur en auxois, a medieval city surrounded by impressive walls. still in burgundy, we will have time for lunch and a stroll in vezelay, one of france’s most beautiful villages, where its immense basilica was one of the starting points of the way of st james. in the afternoon we continue our route to paris. arrival mid-afternoon.
