Introduction
This tour is part of our flexible coach touring range, guaranteed with a minimum of 2 people. Once the tour is booked, it is guaranteed so it will definitely go ahead, and will never cancel.
This tour is guided in English only. Please note if English speaking attendance numbers are low, the tour can become bilingual either accompanied by two tour leaders, one for each language, or a single tour leader providing explanations in both languages.

Transfer and reception aboard the “MS CRUCEVITA" in BASEL to start your CRUISE IN THE RHINE VALLEY. Registration begins at 4:00 p.m.However, if you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage at the front desk to explore the city on your own. Welcome cocktail and dinner. Overnight in Basel.

In the morning we will visit Basel , the oldest university city in Switzerland. The characteristic monuments of the city are the market square with its sumptuously decorated municipal palace of red sandstone and its cathedral from the late Romanesque and Gothic periods. In the middle of the afternoon we set sail for Strasbourg. Overnight on board.

On this day we will enjoy the capital of the French Alsace, STRASBOURG , one of the most scenic cities and regions in Europe. In the morning, a tour of the city is included, to visit the most interesting places first by coach and then on foot through its historic center, and after lunch, free time or the possibility of visiting Colmar. Overnight on board.

We wake up in MANNHEIM , the university town on the Rhine and Neckar rivers, where Karl Drais built the first two-wheeled vehicle in 1817 and where Carl Benz´s first automobile rolled through its streets in 1886. From there we will go to visit HEIDELBERG , a city known for its 14th century University and its beautiful palace on top of the hill. In the middle of the afternoon we leave for MAINZ , a city that we will visit at sunset. Overnight in Mainz.

In the morning we will visit the beautiful village of RÜDESHEIM and after lunch we will resume sailing to enjoy the most beautiful stretch of the Rhine, the "Romantic Rhine" 65 km listed as a World Heritage Site for its scenic beauty and historical importance.
Once in Koblenz we will visit this important city located at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers. After the included visit you will have free time and after dinner we will depart for Cologne. Overnight on board.

Cologne is one of Germany´s most prominent cities. The city´s cathedral is the seat of the Catholic Archbishopric while its university is one of the oldest in Europe. During our visit, you will have the opportunity to visit the most outstanding places and monuments of the city. After lunch, we will resume sailing and enter the Netherlands. Overnight on board.

In the middle of the morning we arrive in AMSTERDAM where we will be able to enjoy one of the cities with the most personality and atmosphere in Europe. Known as the Venice of the North for its many bridges and canals, we will have the opportunity to walk through its streets on the visit we offer. Free time and overnight in Amsterdam.

Disembark at 09:00; all passengers must leave their cabins, but you can leave the luggage in the reception and remain on board in common areas or go out to enjoy the city until the departure time.
