Frequently Asked Questions - Before Travelling

Below is a list of our frequently asked questions, by travellers who have booked but have not yet travelled. . If you can't find an answer to your question, please speak to us on 'chat' or send us a message.

 

  1. When will I receive my documentation?
    We issue documentation approximately a month prior to your departure, and on receipt of full payment.
     
  2. Why are the hotels listed on the documentation subject to change?
    All hotels chosen are based on their individual hotel policies and capacities. Due to passenger quantity and availability, hotels may be changed. However we always select accommodation which is similar to the hotels listed on your documentation. 
     
  3. We are a married couple and have requested double bedding at all hotels. Is it guaranteed?
    No. All accommodation requests are always booked on a request basis and can never be confirmed. Rooming requests such as double bed, smoking/non smoking rooms or requesting the floor of your room are purely on a request basis and subject to the hotel and availability upon check-in. 
     
  4. Do I need a new passport or visa?
    If you are an Australian Passport Holder, you will need a minimum of 6 months validity on your passport from your return date. For any further information, or visa requirements for travel to your destination, either contact your travel agent, the embassy of the country you are visiting or go to https://www.visahq.com.au/. You may be required to present a travel letter from us showing the tour you are taking. If so, please ask and the letter will be generated accordingly.
     
  5. Do I need travel insurance?
    Travel insurance is strongly recommended when before booking any travel. Most travel insurance policies will cover you for situations such as cancellation due to illness, hence before paying for anything
     
  6. I need to cancel or change my trip. 
    If you need to cancel or amend your tour in any way, contact us immediately. Some amendment or cancellation fees may apply, and can be viewed on our Terms and Conditions policy.
     
  7. How many people are on my tour?
    The number of passengers will vary on your tour due to the unique nature of our flexible product. However when you receive your documentation, you can subscribe to see other people who will be joining your tour.
     
  8. How much luggage am I allowed on my tour?
    The general guideline for any coach tour is one large suitcase and a small carry on, per person. Some tours include cruises or train journeys, so please be mindful of this when packing for your European tour.
     
  9. Can I prepurchase the optional activities?
    All optional activities can only be purchased whilst on tour. This allowes you the flexibility to speak with the guide and decide whether the optional activity or tour will suit you. Most optional activities also operate with a minimum number of passengers, so your optional activities will be confirmed whilst on tour.
