Introduction
This tour is part of our flexible coach touring range, guaranteed with a minimum of 2 people. Once the tour is booked, it is guaranteed so it will definitely go ahead, and will never cancel.
This tour is guided in English only. Please note if English speaking attendance numbers are low, the tour can become bilingual either accompanied by two tour leaders, one for each language, or a single tour leader providing explanations in both languages.
The tour offers flexibility, allowing you to customize it to your preferences. By clicking 'Quote or Book,' you will have the choice to select your desired start and end dates and destinations within the tour's defined parameters. Given this flexibility, it's important to note that the same people, tour guides or drivers may not be on your entire journey.
Scenery: From the cultivated fields of the Atlantic plains to the arid landscapes near Safi.
After breakfast, we will go on a guided tour to explore the largest city and economic center of Morocco. We’ll stroll through its grand avenues, visit the beautiful Mohamed V Square with its fountain, Moorish buildings, palm trees, and the Arab League Park. We will also visit the little Medina. The tour includes admission to the impressive Hassan II Mosque, the only mosque in Morocco open to non-Muslims. Located by the sea, it features a 210-meter-high minaret with laser lights pointing to Mecca. Afterward, you´ll have free time for lunch in the pleasant maritime area of La Corniche.
2:30 p.m. - Departure from Casablanca. After lunch, we’ll follow the Atlantic Ocean towards the south.
4:00 p.m. - Arrival in El Jadida, a port town whose citadel (Mazagan) has been declared a World Heritage Site. Built by the Portuguese in the early 16th century, it became the most important commercial and maritime center on the African coast. Its powerful walls overlooking the ocean made it impenetrable. The picturesque streets preserve numerous traces of the Portuguese era, such as the Manueline-style Church of the Assumption. We will walk through the town and include a visit to the old 16th-century cistern.
6:00 p.m. - Departure from El Jadida.
8:00 p.m. - Arrival in Safi for accommodation. Dinner will be included.
Note: The old cistern of El Jadida is currently closed for restoration. It is expected to reopen throughout the season.
Scenery: Stunning ocean views in some areas.
Note: If you wish to relax on the beach in Essaouira, please bring your essentials with you.
08:30 a.m. - Morning visit to Safi with our guide. This city is renowned for its ceramic production, highly demanded throughout Morocco for its quality and bright colors. We’ll photograph the Castle of the Sea and its impressive fortress walls, stroll through the charming Medina, and visit the Hill of the Potters with its many shops.
10:00 a.m. - Departure from Safi.
12:00 p.m. – Essaouira - a historic city with spectacular beaches, known as the Blue Pearl of the Atlantic. Its walled Medina, facing the sea, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This beautifully preserved city is a favorite among artists and painters. You’ll have free time for lunch and to wander through its narrow streets, whitewashed houses, and strong walls struck by the waves.
03:00 p.m. - Departure from Essaouira, continuing along the Atlantic coast with magnificent landscapes along the way.
06:00 p.m. – Taghazout. Brief stop in this picturesque small town known for fishing and surf tourism.
07:00 p.m. - Departure from Taghazout.
07:30 p.m. – Arrival in Agadir, an Atlantic city where the Atlas Mountains meet the sea. Dinner will be included.
Scenery: Mountain views as we cross the Atlas Mountains.

Enjoy a free morning in the most popular beach destination in the country. Take some time to relax on one of its endless beaches, stroll along the seafront, or shop in its many retail areas.
2:30 p.m. - Departure from Agadir. After lunch, we’ll resume our journey on the scenic highway between the Atlas Mountains.
6:00 p.m. - Arrival in Marrakech. After checking in at the hotel, you will experience a traditional Kalesa ride up to Jemaa el-Fnaa square, famous for its lively and nonstop atmosphere.
In the evening, we recommend the Fantasy dinner show, where you can experience the rich and varied Moroccan folklore.
Scenery: Fascinating landscapes, arid regions with oases, mountains along the Atlas, and lands of nomadic communities.
Note: Wear comfortable shoes for the visit to Ouzoud Falls (easy access by stairs).
08:00 a.m. - Departure from Marrakech. Today’s journey will be longer, giving us the opportunity to see the diverse landscapes of the country. We’ll travel along the Atlantic slope of the Atlas Mountains for the first part of our route.
11:00 a.m. - Ouzoud Falls. We’ll make a delightful stop at this tranquil spot, home to the highest waterfalls in North Africa (110 meters). Located in the Middle Atlas, the falls are surrounded by spectacular gorges. We’ll enjoy a short boat trip and have lunch at a restaurant with a beautiful view of the waterfall (both included). You can also watch the macaques (Moroccan monkeys) that live in this area.
01:30 p.m. - Departure from Ouzoud. We’ll continue our journey.
07:45 p.m. - Fez. Before heading to the hotel, we’ll admire the city view from the Marinid Tombs (depending on the sunlight, we may see this view at the start of the next day’s visit). Dinner will be included.
08:00 a.m. - Departure from the hotel. We’ll embark on a city tour of Fez with a local guide. During our visit, we’ll explore the city’s most captivating sites, featuring its iconic architecture and bustling souks. Entering through the Bronze Gates of the Royal Palace, we’ll visit the Jewish quarter, the Tanners´ Quarter, and the vibrant souks. Known as the cultural capital of Morocco, Fez boasts its impressive Medina that retains its traditional Arabian charm. After the tour, we’ll savor a typical Moroccan lunch in a beautiful old palace within the Medina (included).
03:00 p.m. - Departure from Fez. We’ll travel along the modern highway to northern Morocco, passing through the lush Rif valleys, adorned with olive and wheat fields, and regions rich with sugar cane and fruit trees.
08:00 p.m. - Arrival in Tangier. Dinner will be included.
Scenery: Amazing views over the cliffs and the strait. Pleasant scenery of Andalusian white villages.
Note: Remember to keep your passport close. The departure time of the ferry varies depending on the season. Border formalities may involve delays. Returning to Spain, you will have to put your clocks forward by 1 or 2 hours (depending on the time of the year). Your guide will advise you about the time change.
At about 11:00 a.m. (time may vary), we’ll depart from the port of Tangier. Boarding formalities will take place, and each traveler must carry their bags and hand luggage, as required by the Spanish national security authorities. The crossing will take approximately one hour. We suggest having lunch on the ferry.
Arrival in Algeciras/Tarifa. Our journey will continue through beautiful white villages.
08:30 p.m. - Seville.
A local guide will enrich our experience with insights into the history and culture of Andalusia´s capital, starting our journey around nine in the morning. Highlights include the Cathedral and Giralda, Santa Cruz neighborhood, the Guadalquivir riverbanks, Torre del Oro, Maestranza Bullring, Cartuja Island (former Expo site and home to Isla Mágica amusement park), and María Luisa Park with its stunning Plaza de España. The tour, lasting approximately 3 hours including the boat ride, will conclude with free time in the afternoon. Optionally, the guide will offer the opportunity for those interested to visit the cathedral and attend a flamenco performance at a tablao in the evening.
Scenery: Pleasant fertile lands of the Guadalquivir Valley. Castilian lands of La Mancha.
08:00 a.m. – Departure from Seville.
10:00 a.m. – Arrival in Córdoba. We’ll visit its great Mosque-Cathedral with a local guide (tickets included), walk through the old neighborhood with its famous patios full of flowers, and enter the Old Synagogue (tickets included). Afterwards, we’ll enjoy free time during which you can have lunch and stroll through the flower-filled Jewish quarter.
02:00 p.m. – Departure from Córdoba. We’ll leave Andalusia for the Castilian lands.
05:15 p.m. – Arrival in Consuegra. 12 giant windmills next to the castle overlook the La Mancha plain. We’ll visit the interior of one of them, the Rucio Mill, which once transformed wheat into flour (tickets included).
06:15 p.m. – Departure from Consuegra.
08:00 p.m. – Arrival in Madrid.
Note: Please be aware that the hotel check-out time is usually 10:00 a.m. You can leave your luggage in reception upon check-out, allowing you to explore the city without carrying your bags. You can retrieve your luggage at your convenience later in the day. If you require additional time to use your room, we recommend booking an extra night at the end of your tour.
