We leave around 08.30 in the morning and crossing the central mountain range through the tunnel we travel to ÁVILA. After that, accompanied by our guide we will take a short walk to the old city, declared a World HeritageSite by UNESCO, where we will visit, among other places, the Basilica of San Vicente in Romanesque style, the oldest in Ávila, the Cathedral of El Salvador, the first in Spain that incorporates the Gothic style, the Plaza del Mercado Chico, center of the town, and we will walk through a sector of the wall. You will have some free time to stroll or, if you wish, buy their famous "yolks", delicious local sweet.
We continue to SALAMANCA, we go straight to the Plaza Mayor, where we will have time for lunch. In the afternoon, with our guide we walk through the old city, also declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, highlights the University of Salamanca, where we will see the facades of the Major Schools of plateres co style, the Casa de las Conchas and the two Cathedrals of the city, the Old and the New, separated by the Patio Chico, one of the most charming corners of the city.
