Here we give you a guidance on their tour with the information that we believe may be of your interest. The information is indicative, may exist variations on designated hours.
TRANSFER from the airport, if you have it included or purchasing. Our transfer will be waiting for you with a poster on behalf of Europamundo or its name to the output of the custom (after collecting your luggage)..
Remember to inform us by phone if you lost your connection flight or expected delay of their arrival, in your VOUCHER figure the phone of the transfer.
IMPORTANT: If you had additional nights upon arrival the hotel will have your reservation, but his travel guide normally will not be until the night before the start of the tour.
06:00 p.m. – In the late afternoon, to welcome you to the island, we’ll include a transfer in a classic vintage car to the San Carlos Fortress , driving along the iconic Malecón. There, we’ll witness the traditional Cannon Firing Ceremony (tickets included). Return to the hotel by coach or private vehicle and overnight stay.
09:30 p.m. – Return to the hotel.
Scenery: This route will take us through lush Cuban tropical landscapes, mangroves, and protected wetlands. Later, we’ll drive along the Caribbean coast, where crystal-clear waters and rich vegetation create a stunning backdrop.
Note: Wear comfortable clothing, a swimsuit, and non-slip shoes for water activities. Have your camera ready to capture the diverse flora and fauna of the national park.
08:00 a.m. – Departure from Havana. We’ll travel south across sugar cane fields, palm groves, and small towns, heading toward one of Cuba’s most biodiverse regions.
11:00 a.m. – Guamá. Located within the Zapata Swamp National Park, we’ll visit the Crocodile Breeding Center and take a boat ride on the Treasure Lagoon, surrounded by Taino legends and lush vegetation. In the nearby Taino Village, we’ll explore a re-creation of pre-Columbian life, featuring life-sized sculptures that depict the early Caribbean inhabitants.
12:30 p.m. – Departure from Taino Village. We’ll continue along the Caribbean coastline to reach Punta Perdiz.
01:00 p.m. – Punta Perdiz. Free time to enjoy the sea. Lunch will be included, and you’ll have the chance to swim, explore natural cenotes, or go snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters filled with marine life.
03:30 p.m. – Departure from Punta Perdiz. We’ll continue our journey toward a place of great significance in Cuba’s recent history.
04:00 p.m. – Playa Girón. Visit to the Playa Girón Museum, which tells the story of the Bay of Pigs invasion and the Cuban resistance during the revolution.
04:30 p.m. – Departure from Playa Girón. We’ll take the road to our final destination for the day.
05:30 p.m. – Cienfuegos. Known as “The Pearl of the South,” this elegant port city, with its French neoclassical architecture, will charm us as we tour the historic center, the seafront promenade, and Punta Gorda.
06:30 p.m. – Departure from Cienfuegos toward the hotel.
07:00 p.m. – Arrival at Rancho Luna Hotel. Dinner will be included and overnight stay.
Scenery: We’ll travel through the rural heart of south-central Cuba, passing green sugar cane plantations, gentle hills, and small towns that still preserve the true essence of the Caribbean.
09:00 a.m. – Departure from Cienfuegos. We’ll leave behind this elegant colonial city and head toward Trinidad, a heritage jewel nestled between the Escambray Mountains and the Caribbean Sea.
10:30 a.m. – Trinidad. We’ll begin our visit at the workshop of Chichi Santander, a prominent figure in traditional Trinitarian pottery, where we’ll get a closer look at this centuries-old craft. Then, we’ll take a walking tour of the historic center, considered an open-air museum and declared a World Heritage Site. As we stroll along its cobblestone streets, we’ll admire colonial architecture around the main square, visit the iconic Bar La Canchánchara, and explore the Santería Yemayá Temple, dedicated to the sea goddess. A santero will introduce us to the beliefs and rituals of this ancient Afro-Cuban religion. Lunch will be included at a charming local restaurant.
03:00 p.m. – Departure from Trinidad toward the coast.
03:30 p.m. – Arrival at Playa Ancón Resort. Check-in at Memories Trinidad del Mar Hotel (all-inclusive). Free afternoon to enjoy the Caribbean Sea at one of the island’s most beautiful beaches, unwind at the resort, or return on your own to Trinidad’s historic center.
08:30 p.m. – Transfer to Trinidad. In the evening, we’ll offer a transfer to the center of Trinidad so you can soak up the city’s vibrant atmosphere, with live Cuban music near the cathedral and cozy local restaurants.
11:00 p.m. – Return to the hotel.
Scenery: Today’s journey takes us through rural landscapes that reflect the historical richness of central Cuba—fertile valleys covered in sugar cane, old colonial estates, and small towns brimming with authenticity.
09:00 a.m. – Departure from Trinidad. We’ll head into the heart of the historic Valley of the Sugar Mills, where Cuba’s sugar industry flourished during the 18th and 19th centuries.
09:15 a.m. – San Isidro de los Destiladeros, Valley of the Sugar Mills. We’ll visit this former sugar factory, considered the best-preserved in the valley. Here, we’ll learn about the history of sugar production, the region’s economic rise, and the role of slavery in the industry’s development.
10:15 a.m. – Departure from San Isidro toward Manaca Iznaga.
10:25 a.m. – Manaca Iznaga. At this iconic plantation estate, we’ll have the chance to climb its watchtower for a 360° panoramic view of the valley. The tower, a symbol of prosperity and control, stands as a powerful reminder of a time shaped by forced labor and colonial wealth.
11:30 a.m. – Departure from Manaca Iznaga. We’ll continue north through the Cuban countryside.
01:00 p.m. – Sancti Spíritus. This quiet, lesser-known colonial town offers an authentic and serene atmosphere. We’ll stroll through the historic center, visit the main church and square, and enjoy lunch included at a local restaurant.
02:30 p.m. – Departure from Sancti Spíritus.
03:45 p.m. – Trinidad. Arrival and free afternoon to relax at the hotel or enjoy its facilities.
Scenery: Along the way, we’ll cross fertile plains, the mountainous areas of the Escambray, and vast sugarcane plantations—witnessing the natural and cultural diversity of central Cuba as we make our way to the country’s vibrant capital.
Morning – Free time.
Enjoy the hotel facilities at Playa Ancón or take this final opportunity to explore more of Trinidad, a city frozen in time, at your own pace.
12:00 p.m. – Departure from Trinidad.
We’ll begin our return journey to Havana, traveling along part of the island’s central corridor, where the scenery shifts between the Caribbean coast and the agricultural heartland.
