Overnight in Brussels.
After enjoying a great breakfast, we will explore Brussels. The capital of Belgium combines the energy of a large city with the charm of quieter, smaller towns. Modern, yet with a classic touch, the streets of Brussels are full of charm and history. The Grand Place, Grand Sablon, the Atomium, and the Manneken Pis are just some of the sites we’ll explore.
In the afternoon, we’ll begin our first sailing, arriving in Antwerp after dinner. Overnight in Antwerp.
Early in the morning, after breakfast, we will head out to explore the remarkable city of Antwerp. A major cultural hub in the early 17th century, Antwerp has long been one of the most important commercial cities in Northern Europe. The blend of its historic center—with its impressive Cathedral, Grote Markt, and castle—and its modern side, featuring one of Europe’s trendiest neighborhoods and the world’s largest diamond production center, makes this city a must-visit destination.
Free time in the afternoon. Overnight sailing.
We wake up in Ghent. In the morning, you´ll have the option to join an optional excursion to Bruges, or enjoy free time in the hometown of Emperor Charles V — a city we’ll see in the afternoon. We’ll explore this monumental and historic city by strolling through its charming city center surrounded by canals.
Before dinner, we’ll begin our journey to the next destination and sail through the night.
In the morning, we’ll explore Middelburg, the main city of the Dutch province of Zeeland, located in the south of the country near the Flemish region of neighboring Belgium. Zeeland is made up mostly of islands connected to the mainland by narrow strips of land; something we’ll experience firsthand during the beautiful afternoon sailing that will take us to Rotterdam, where we’ll arrive close to midnight.
Overnight in Rotterdam.
We wake up in Rotterdam, a city that rebuilt itself after the devastating bombings of 1940. It did so by looking to the future, embracing avant-garde architecture that set a trend still visible today—creating one of the most impressive skylines in the world. Free afternoon, or the option to visit Keukenhof Park, known as the largest flower garden in the world. At this time of year, it draws visitors in search of spring’s most colorful beauty.
Overnight in Rotterdam.
Known worldwide as one of the most liberal cities in Europe, Amsterdam also offers many points of interest such as Dam Square, the Flower Market, and its famous Red Light District. In the morning, there will be free time to explore the city before returning to the ship for lunch. Free afternoon, or the option to visit Volendam and Zaanse Schans.
Overnight sailing.
After breakfast, we will proceed with disembarkation. Cabins must be vacated by 9:00 a.m., but you may leave your luggage on board and stay in the common areas, or head out to enjoy the city until your scheduled transfer. End of services.
