Introduction

This tour is part of our flexible coach touring range, guaranteed with a minimum of 2 people. Once the tour is booked, it is guaranteed so it will definitely go ahead, and will never cancel.

This tour is guided in English only. Please note if English speaking attendance numbers are low, the tour can become bilingual either accompanied by two tour leaders, one for each language, or a single tour leader providing explanations in both languages.

The tour offers flexibility, allowing you to customize it to your preferences. Cruise. Embarkation.
Transfer to the port of AMSTERDAM (or surroundings, Zaandam/ Cohenhaven) for embarkation. We welcome you aboard the MS DUTCH SYMPHONY. Check-in will take place at 16.00 hrs, however, if you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage at the reception to explore the resort on your own. Welcome cocktail, and presentation of the crew. Dinner on board.

Known worldwide as one of the most liberal cities in Europe, Amsterdam also offers many places of interest such as Damm Square, Flower Market or its famous red-light district. In the morning we will visit the city and you will have free time before returning to the boat for lunch. In the early afternoon, we´ll start sailing and enjoying the beautiful Dutch landscapes. Overnight on board.

Early in the morning we’ll arrive in ROTTERDAM . After breakfast, we´ll visit the city that was able to rebuild itself after the terrible bombings it suffered in 1940. It did so by looking to the future with avant-garde architecture that set a trend that endures today, forming one of the most impressive skylines in the world. Free time in the afternoon or possibility to visit The Hague and Delft. In the middle of the afternoon we will navigate with a spectacular departure from Rotterdam to reach DORDRECHT , a city where we will take a night stroll after dinner. Overnight in Dordrecht.

During the morning we will enjoy a scenic and interesting navigation through the North Sea. A series of incredible works of Dutch engineering that are part of the DELTA PLAN and that protect the country from the rising North Sea. After lunch we arrive in WILLEMSTAD , a cozy fortified town with a beautiful history. The small town is named after William I (Prince William of Orange), as it was he himself who gave the order to build it, unfortunately he did not see its completion as he was assassinated a year earlier in Delft. Overnight in Willemstad.

Early in the morning, after breakfast, we set off at KINDERDIJCK to visit one of the best known sights in the country, the windmills. This set of mills, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, are the clear example of how the Dutch have been able to control the water level for more than 1000 years. After the visit, we return to the boat to continue sailing to UTRECHT , a city that we will visit in the afternoon and where we will spend the night. Overnight in Utrecht.

At 09.00 hrs, after breakfast we will disembark and transfer the group to the center of Amsterdam and the airport. Please expect to arrive at the airport 13.00 hrs or later.
